SEQ Muddies Queensland Police Rugby League Tournament a Success

The South East Queensland (SEQ) Muddies delivered a highly successful State Championships event. Supported by Tactical Solutions, the tournament brought together teams from across the state in a celebration of sport, service, and community.

Honouring a Legend – The Jay Notaro Memorial Match

One of the most significant moments of the Championships was the Jay Notaro Memorial Match, held in honour of a respected and much-loved member of the Muddies family.

The memorial game took place on Day 1 of the Championships, featuring a special pre-match ceremony followed by kickoff at approximately 3:45pm . The match served as a fitting tribute, bringing together current players and legends to celebrate Jay’s legacy and contribution to the Queensland Police Rugby League community.

This emotional and well-supported fixture highlighted the deep sense of respect and unity within the organisation.
